About Ark Talents
Having worked in the social sector across New South Wales for over a decade, we have witnessed firsthand the growing disparity in access to mental health services—particularly for vulnerable cohorts, including children, young people, and their families.
Australia is facing a critical mental health workforce crisis, most acutely in regional, rural, and remote communities. Demand for services continues to rise, yet nearly half of all Australians will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime while access remains deeply unequal.
The National Mental Health Workforce Strategy 2022–2032 estimates a current workforce shortfall of 32%, projected to grow to 42% by 2030. Regional areas in particular face long waiting periods to access clinical psychologists and allied health specialists—and that is the gap ARK Talents was built to help close.
Our Purpose
At ARK Talents, we are driven by a clear vision: to source, connect, upskill, and support mental health professionals, and to place them where they are needed most—across Australian clinics, community health services, and hospitals.
